It has been a wild ride over the last few months. WSI hopes that you and your family are doing well and have stayed safe and healthy.
We have consistently been cleaning and sanitizing. Keeping our distance, modified our procedures and practices to ensure the safety of our staff and our clients. WSI is following Alberta health policies and recommendations which are ever changing and evolving.
WSI thanks you for your support and trusting us to supply your parts while keeping you safe.

At WSI we are adapting daily to our new normal. Our staff are healthy and have made our increased hygienic and disinfection procedures their new normal. We work hard to ensure that WSI will be able to continually deliver you the level of service you are used to.
Some of our branches have undergone a bit of a rearrange to optimize our use of space and make sure social distancing measures are used in our store fronts. WSI would like to thank all of our clients for your patience and maintaining your distance when visiting our branches. WSI has experienced an increase in walk in customers at all of our locations and our hardworking staff has mentioned that our clients have been incredible, so thank you from our front counter staff.
As the reopening procedures for the rest of the province will roll out in the next few weeks we expect that your needs may increase as your clients may require their vehicles again. WSI is ready to help you with all of your automotive and light industrial needs.
WSI locations will open on Saturdays again beginning May 9.

To our amazing Clients,
WSI is open and doing our best to maintain business as usual while ensuring the health and safety of our staff and our clients.
Other provinces have instituted stricter measures ordering nonessential businesses to close their doors. Automotive repair services and automotive parts distributers were on the list of essential services. This gives us the reassurance that if/when Alberta institutes similar restrictions we will be on the essential services list. WSI continues to remain open and is taking enhanced health and safety measures to protect our incredible staff and you our clients.
Daily we are following strict procedures:
- Staff are to immediately wash their hands upon arrival to work and are to wash frequently while at work. Hand sanitizer is being used when hand washing is not an option.
- Maintain social distancing at all times. 6ft
- Visitors are limited to showroom/ front counter areas only – Our Sales force is working remotely and is not entering the building
- All areas are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
- Additional measures have been put into place to limit the number of people that come into contact with your parts.
- Staff experiencing any symptoms MUST remain at home and be tested. 14-day quarantine or a negative COVID-19 test result from AHS must occur before returning to work.
WSI is now asking that there is a spot designated for deliveries. It can be a table, box, bin located outside or just inside the door of your building. We would prefer for the drop off spot to be located outside as we are trying to increase the distance, limit touch points, and limit our drivers’ exposure to other people. WSI no longer will require signatures for deliveries. IF a designated drop off spot is not an option, or if there are issues or concerns please contact scott@wsionline.ca.
WSI maintains an incredible inventory and our suppliers currently assure us that there are no current interruptions in our supply.
Daily our world is changing, and we are doing our best to help you ensure that all of our essential workers can make it to and from work during this pandemic. We are providing an essential service as are you. If you are deciding to close your doors for a period of time we understand and will work with you to get your returns taken care of. If you are remaining open, we are here for you. We are in this together.

To: Our valued Clients
As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve we are constantly evaluating our procedures and ways we do business to ensure the safety of our staff and our clients.
With the recent development of the closure of boarders, international flights, the US border except for trade, and the recommendation of limiting social interactions we wanted to send out an update.
WSI understands that limiting interaction is a step we can take to protect our staff and our clients.
WSI acknowledges that during this global pandemic changes can occur hourly and we will continue to update and inform our clients.
The following steps will begin March 20, 2020 and remain in effect for at least 2 weeks.
- Our clients will not be visited by WSI’s Sales Representatives. WSI’s sales team will be available by phone and email until they are able to resume normal duties.
- They will do their best to pick up returns on the 19th.
- WSI Drivers will NOT be sent out to pick up returns. Returns will be picked up when it is deemed appropriate for sales staff to resume normal operations. Returns may also be dropped off at your local WSI, please call ahead and arrange to do so in order to maintain appropriate distancing protocols.
- WSI training dates for March and April are currently postponed. We will receive rescheduled dates once it is safe to do so.
- Our clients will not be visited by WSI’s Sales Representatives. WSI’s sales team will be available by phone and email until they are able to resume normal duties.
WSI is doing our absolute best to maintain business as usual with additional health and safety measures in place. Our suppliers have ensured us that our supply chain is to be maintained and replenished. WSI has spent the last year and a half optimizing our inventory and as such we are well stocked. We will keep you updated and informed during this unprecedented time.

We are here to help you continue to provide your essential services to keep the essential transporters of goods, services, health care personnel, and families safe and on the road. To All Our Valued Clients,
As part of WSI’s pandemic planning and in response to the spread of Covid-19 virus, WSI is taking all necessary steps to ensure we are going above and beyond what is called for to ensure the safety of you, our client, as well as the hardworking staff of WSI. WSI is currently open and maintaining normal operations.
It is with an abundance of caution for the safety of our staff, internal and external, that we are taking any extra measures necessary. We have reviewed with our delivery team to ensure that they participate in extra hygiene as well as use any gloves and/or have extra pens to ensure that contact is kept to a minimal. As well we have followed up with all branches to ensure extra measures are taken for cleaning counters, showrooms doors, to keep our locations as healthy and safe as we can for our staff and clients. We are so proud of how our team has stepped up to take care of each other and our clients.
Clients that are set up with cash or credit accounts that do not already have online access and would like to set that up should email kyle@wsionline.ca. Online ordering will help WSI and our staff best serve your needs in the event of staffing shortages or temporary closures.
We would ask that if you are not feeling well or have been in contact with someone who is not feeling well please refrain from visiting our retail locations at this time. If you have retail part needs and would like to limit contact with our retail staff, you can fill out the request form on the home page of wsionline.ca. Your request will be answered and instructions for purchasing and pick up can be arranged.
Sales representatives from manufacturers are asked to refrain from visiting our locations for the time being.
To the best of our ability, we have made sure we have the stock WSI will need to continue serving you as you have come to expect from us. Our suppliers have also ensured us that their supplies have been adjusted accordingly to ensure that supply will meet demand as best as possible. We are monitoring everything over the next few days to ensure we have a course of action that will have minimal impact to you our clients.
At the same time, we would like to make you all aware that the school and daycare closures will impact WSI as well as all of us. We are working with our staff and our clients to help them through these unprecedented times.
